Ms. S, initially caught off guard by her husband's birthday wish for a boudoir shoot, found herself contemplating the idea. “My initial reasoning for even thinking about booking was because my husband asked for a boudoir shoot for his birthday. I was completely caught off guard. I laughed first, then realized that he was serious. In that moment I knew I had to do it, because he seriously asks me for nothing. Especially nothing specific for birthdays/Christmas.” With a desire to fulfill her husband's unique request, she embarked on a quest for the perfect studio. Right off the bat I felt comfortable with her. When I got into the studio it was welcoming and not cold like I had in my head. They had me change into a comfy robe and LaDonna got to work on hair and makeup!! Honestly, this was one of the reasons why I picked The Vixen Society- all inclusive!! Haha!” As the day of the shoot progressed the experience only got more exciting. “We chatted the whole time. They just made me feel so comfortable and almost like we were old friends catching up. Then the magic began…. We picked out outfits matched with heels and jewels.” And after styling, the shoot finally began. “Emma was absolutely amazing in telling me what to do or showing me what to do. She put my mind at ease immediately with how I “felt like I looked” vs what she was truly seeing. It was like having my own personal cheerleader for the next few hours. I had SO MUCH FUN!!! It was completely different from what I had imagined and all in a positive and uplifting way.”

The Revelation: "Is that me? Pure Magic!"

Upon seeing the photos, Ms. S was awestruck. The team's magic transformed her perception of herself. The images on the big screen and in person exceeded her expectations, leaving her in awe. “WOW! Is that me? That’s not me! Pure magic. The whole team is pure magic. The photos on the big screen were gorgeous. The photos in person were even more amazing.” Those same photos became a source of confidence and a reminder of her inner strength. “It’s been a few months and I go through them often. I don’t know if it’s to give me a confidence boost or if maybe I just need a reminder that I’m a badass!”

Ms. S's husband, aware of her initial hesitations, purchased all the photos. He wanted her to see herself through his eyes and appreciate the beauty he sees in her every day. This gesture had a profound impact on Ms. S's self-perception. “Once all the photos were presented to me, I truly only saw what I hated in a few of them. My husband knew that. I think that’s why he bought them all. To make me see what he sees everyday.”
